More Workers Are Opting for Virtual Offices

The internet has really changed a lot of things in our lives. After the recent hike in popularity of distance learning programs, we’re now seeing a new trend of top employees and professionals working remotely. Daily commutes to the office are no longer seen as necessary, mainly because the available technologies are allowing employees to be just as effective – if not more effective – working from home or a local coffee shop.

In fact, studies complied by the online masters in communication management department of the University of Southern California reveal that more organizations are switching to virtual teams. Large companies who are expanding their operations overseas still count on employees based in the US to fill key positions. This approach is not only more affordable, but also more effective in the long run.
